Stop the bleeding

Once again blood has been shed. Fifty innocent lives and counting. When is America going to wake up?

This is being written from England, a country of very few handgun fatalities and assault-weapon massacres. Not even street “Bobbies” carry guns unless they are on a special police force. The only allowable guns are used for hunting animals — not people.

Doesn’t that make more sense than what’s occurring in the U.S.?

We need to stop the purchase of guns, stop the demand for guns, stop the flow of guns. We need to stop the bleeding.

We live in the thick of gun country, and if we make Virginia voices heard, it may make a difference across the U.S.

Now is the time. Write your Congressman. Beg them to please stop the bleeding.
