Sounds of the wild

The National Park Service, of course, was on hand Friday to introduce a bracing (and free) concert at the Theatre at Washington, part of a nationwide tour of “Music in the American Wild,” concerts meant to honor the park service’s 100-year anniversary, offered by seven performers performing the new works of 11 composers, all affiliated with Eastman School of Music and all inspired by the grandeur and history of the national parks.
