Amissville’s carnival and parade attract both funseekers and spiffed-up fire and rescue apparatus — and the volunteers who run them — from all over. Top: Jack Jones, as one of the newest members of Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue (sponsors of the annual event), got to take the much-coveted mini-engine out for a spin.
