The St. Peter Knights of Columbus Council recently presented Fauquier Habitat for Humanity with a $1,000 check to help build a home in Huntly, only the second Habitat project in the county in 25 years. Reverend Fr. Horace “Tuck” Grinnell watches as Paul Linz (center), executive director of Fauquier Habitat for Humanity, accepts the check from Grand Knight Tom Junk. Meanwhile, the fundraising event Blueprints & Blue Jeans, is scheduled at Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill on Wednesday, Sept. 21. All proceeds will go to the Huntly home build. Call 540-341-4952 or email becca@fauquierhabitat.org for more information. Donations can also be sent directly to Fauquier Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 3189, Warrenton, VA 20188.
