Boston column for Oct. 27

More on the cell tower

As many of you know via Anita L. Sherman’s article in last week’s paper, the Culpeper County Planning Commission approved the application of the CWS cell tower. However, there is still time to have your voice heard. You can join in on the next public hearing, before the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 in the Culpeper board room. But if you cannot attend this meeting please feel free to send an email to John Egerston at Please put “Boston Tower” in the subject line; emails will be shared with all supervisors. I hope that whether you are for or against the tower, you will have your voice heard.

4-H Livestock Club

This Saturday (Oct. 29) our very own Rappahannock County 4-H Livestock Club will be having a bake sale at the 211 Quickie Mart from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Please come out and support their club and get some yummy goodies for yourself or another. They are also holding a Yankee Candle fundraiser until Sunday, Nov. 6; if interested please ask a member, or you can email me for more information. Thank you all in advance.
