Thanksgiving dinners? Bank on it.

Luke Christopher | Rappahannock News

Most of Union Bank & Trust’s Rappahannock branch staff traveled to Sperryville last Friday to help out at the Rappahannock Food Pantry, including by assembling boxes — and, more important, to present a $3,500 donation enabling the Pantry to put together some 200 dinner-and-fixings boxes this Thanksgiving for needy families. Gathered around the donation check are (from left) Pantry board member Pete Stenner, Pantry director Mimi Forbes and, from Union Bank, Sarah Morgan, Kelly Settle, Jason Brady, Sherry Cillo and Regional President Michael Leake. (The Pantry is still looking for donors to make the same small miracle happen at Christmas for its clients.)
